Bruce Weber has resigned as the basketball coach at Kansas State. The move came one day after the Wildcats lost to West Virginia in the opening round of the Big 12 Tournament to cap a third straight losing season.
He led the Wildcats to five NCAA tournaments in his first seven seasons, including a share of two Big 12 regular-season titles. He took Illinois to the 2005 national champion game and his career record is 407 wins against 301 losses, with 13 appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
