Two people were killed when two semi tractor-trailers crashed at a rural intersection in southwest Butler County late Monday morning.
The crash was reported around 11:20 a.m. at Southwest 150th and Santa Fe Lake Road, northeast of Rose Hill. Butler County Undersheriff Daimon Cundiff told KFDI News that an eastbound semi ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a northbound semi hauling a load of rocks.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, and their names have not been released.
