Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 31-year-old man early Sunday in north Wichita.
Officers were called to a report of a shooting around 1:20 a.m. in the 1300 block of North Hydraulic. They found Nyron Bowen lying on the ground, and he had been shot several times. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators found that Bowen had been walking away from a nightclub, and witnesses reported hearing several shots. Bowen was found just south of the club.
