The Salvation Army and Evergy are partnering to help residents cope with the summer heat.
The Salvation Army will be distributing donated fans for the elderly or individuals with disabilities without access to air conditioning and those who cannot afford to purchase a fan for themselves.
Fan distribution is today, June 28th at the Downtown Koch Center Area Command campus (350 North Market) from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00p.m. Fans are only available to Sedgwick County residents while supplies last.
Recipients must provide ID (including ID for everyone in the household), and a utility bill (for proof of address).
