(previous story)

Officials with the City of Derby said there was a disruption of the city’s computer network over the weekend.  It was discovered on Saturday and city staff began working with computer specialists to look into the incident.

The disruption has been reported to law enforcement agencies and Derby officials are working to find out what impact the disruption may have had on information stored in computer systems.

Derby officials said all public services in the community, including core services such as police and fire response and water and wastewater systems, are still operational.  The city will provide updates as more information becomes available.
