Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Army Veteran Britt Greene. From 2008 to 2017 Britt served as an Army chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear officer. Britt will be joining 5 other riders on this grueling, 3700-mile, 12 state, cross country bike ride. It’s a ride intended to highlight the Great American Rail Trail, the flagship project of the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit dedicated to turning unused rail corridors into trails. Britt said, “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do something a little crazy and kind of take this leap of faith. Safe travels Britt and THANK YOU for your service.
