The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded a boil water advisory for the City Mulvane water supply system located in Sumner County.
The advisory was issued because of a level control system failure resulting in a loss of system pressure, which risked bacterial contamination.
Samples collected from the City of Mulvane indicated no contamination and KDHE officials deemed the issue to be resolved.
