The Kansas Department of Transportation is hosting a meeting in Wichita to get local input on area transportation projects and priorities.

This is one of nine Local Consult meetings that are being held across the state to talk about projects under the state’s 10-year Eisenhower Legacy Transportation Program (IKE).  People who attend will hear about investments being made in transportation and they can find out about various grant funding programs available through KDOT.   The meeting is open to the public.

The meeting will be held Wednesday, October 18th from 9 a.m. to noon at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex.

For people who can’t attend the Local Consult meetings, there is a virtual meeting that will be held Tuesday, October 24th from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  People can register for that meeting at a special web site:  https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZMvf-uppjMsHdaOpjIXnRlJQV-xQrcEpb1A
