The Kansas Department of Transportation and officials from Sedgwick and Butler counties will be hosting a second public meeting to talk about future development of the K-254 corridor between Wichita and El Dorado.

The meeting will feature displays of possible improvement strategies for the corridor, based on input from the first meeting.  KDOT officials and consultants will attend the meeting to get more input.   A corridor management plan is being created to look at future land development and access along K-254.   The planning process will continue through the summer of 2024.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8th, in the commons area of Circle Middle School at 14697 SW 20th Street in Benton.  A formal presentation begins at 5:45 p.m.
