The U.S. Geological Survey reported six earthquakes in central Oklahoma on Friday and Saturday.

All of the quakes were centered near Arcadia, just northeast of Oklahoma City.   One quake late Friday measured 4.3 and another early Saturday was 4.1.  The other quakes early Saturday measured 2.5, 2.6, 2.7 and 3.2.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.

The quakes have been linked to “fracking” operations with oil companies injecting wastewater into the ground, but there have been no reports of such activity in recent weeks.
