Five Marines who had been missing in California have been found dead. A search began for their helicopter after it was reported overdue early Wednesday morning.
The helicopter was found Wednesday in Pine Valley, just over 40 miles east of San Diego.
The Marines were taking part in a training flight from Creech Air Force Base near Las Vegas when it was reported overdue. The search had faced difficulties due to the weather in the area.
