Two juveniles have been charged in Jackson County, Missouri in connection with Wednesday’s shooting outside Union Station after a Super Bowl victory rally for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jackson County Family Court reported Friday that the charges involve gun possession and resisting arrest, and more charges are expected in the future as Kansas City police continue their investigation. The Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office has announced an intent to try the two as adults.
One person, Kansas City radio host Lisa Lopez-Galvan, was killed and 22 others were injured in the shooting.
Police have said that they are looking for others who may have been involved in the shooting. They said a personal dispute led to the shooting and there was no evidence of terrorism.
