The six day search for a missing Texas girl has come to a tragic end. The body of eleven-year-old Audrii Cunningham was found Tuesday in a river, not far from her suburban Houston home.
Polk County Sheriff Byron Lyons says that it was video and cell phone evidence led them to Cunningham’s body. The last person to see her alive was a family friend, who is under arrest. Don McDougal lived behind the family’s home. He will be facing capitol murder charges. The D-A says the death penalty is on the table.
Lyons said there is a “mountain of evidence” in the case.
