Garden City residents and local officials have been assessing the damage after severe storms moved across southwest Kansas Sunday afternoon.
Damage and power outages were reported after a possible tornado moved through the area. There were no reports of injuries.
Tornado warnings were also issued for portions of Gove, Thomas, Logan and Sheridan counties after a confirmed “landspout” tornado late Sunday afternoon. There were no reports of damage or injuries.
