A Wichita man has been convicted of two counts of first degree murder for the shooting deaths last year of two people in an Old Town parking garage.
A jury returned a guilty verdict for 20-year-old Zachary Ramirez, and a sentencing date will be determined later.
Ramirez was convicted in the July, 2023 shooting deaths of 21-year-old Bryan Lara-Hernandez and 19-year-old Josephina Lerma-Dominguez. They were found in a car in the parking garage at Old Town Square. They had gone to the garage to jump start Ramirez’s vehicle.
