A Sedgwick County jury has returned a guilty verdict for a Wichita man in a fatal shooting from 2019.
29-year-old Chevy Jones was convicted of first degree murder for a December 3rd, 2019 shooting. 31-year-old Robert Junior was found outside his home in the 85-hundred block of East Parkmont. That’s in a neighborhood near Pawnee and Rock Road.
Police arrested Jones several days later after a chase that began in the 2600 block of South Topeka. He crashed into a patrol car and then tried to get away on foot, but he was caught inside a Walmart store at Pawnee and Broadway.
