The Rock The Country festival is getting a makeover, and some fans aren’t happy. One, they are dropping prices at certain stops due to struggling sales, which has fans who already purchased tickets looking for a refund for the difference. Also, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Jelly Roll has been replaced by Aaron Lewis. It was the only stop of the festival where Jelly Roll was scheduled to play, and fans in that city didn’t feel it was a fair trade.
Congratulations to Emily Ann Roberts, who just won her first music industry award! Roberts was named Rising Artist-Writer of the Year at the AIMP (Association of Independent Music Publishers) Nashville Awards.
After teasing us across social media, Cody Johnson has finally announced his brand new album, Banks of the Trinity, with the lead single, ‘I Want You’, dropping last night while you were sleeping.
