Today, the AWESOME comes from Toledo, Ohio. Instead of a traditional holiday party, the owners of an Ohio restaurant treated their staff to a memorable three-day Bahamas cruise. Jeff Dinnebeil and Megan Lingsweiler paid for flights and tickets, allowing employees to fully enjoy the trip, which included stops in Bimini and Nassau. For some, it marked major first-time experiences, like flying or seeing the ocean. Beyond the vacation, the trip strengthened team bonds, turning coworkers into a close-knit family. The restaurant closed to prevent staff from losing income, and employees also received bonuses. The owners said the trip was a way to thank the team they credit for the restaurant’s success.
