That is NOT the way I was taught to write a cursive “o.” It could be a style choice, but social media is buzzing about a possible misspelling. Why, because the hats are for sale at some retail locations and Nugget fans want theirs now! The one for sale on the official NBA site (below) looks more like what I would expect to see.
Not only did the Nuggets win the title, but Christian Braun who played ball at KU (and is from Burlington, KS) became only the fifth player in NBA history to win an NCAA Championship and an NBA Championship back-to-back. Who are the others? Bill Russell, Henry Bibby, Magic Johnson, and Billy Thompson. Oh, and Christian has 5 championships in 7 years if you count the two state titles he won with Blue Valley Northwest High School in Kansas City.
