Today, I salute Air Force Veteran Tim Kirk. Tim was recently named a 2026 Awards of Character recipient by the Pro Football Hall of Fame for his work supporting Veterans through the Warrior Healing Center in Sierra Vista, Arizona. The honor, presented with USA Today and Payton Productions, recognizes community leaders who embody integrity and service. Kirk’s center partners with dozens of groups to simplify access to benefits and combat veteran suicide by fostering connection and purpose. Surprised with the award by Roger Wehrli and Brittney Payton, Kirk emphasizes community—not complexity—as the key to saving veterans’ lives.
