Today, I salute Marine Veteran Scott Bullard. As America reflects on 250 years of military history, many veterans continue battling trauma long after their service ends. Corpus Christi veteran Scott Bullard shared how unresolved pain from his time in the Marines led to 25 years of addiction, homelessness, and the loss of his family and career goals. Bullard said his life began changing after seeking help from Rehab, where counselors encouraged struggling Veterans like himself to pursue recovery. Staff members say asking for help is often the hardest step, but many Veterans are determined to rebuild their lives once treatment begins. Now in recovery, Bullard is training for marathons and focusing on a better future. Congratulations on your recovery Scott and THANK YOU for your service.
