Tanganyika Wildlife Park Celebrates Birth of 3 Endangered Amur Leopards

Three black Amur Leopards were born at Tanganyika Wildlife Park. Their mother, Mystique, is a seven year old black Amur leopard that was born and raised at Tanganyika.

The litter was born on April 13th.

Amur Leopards are the most critically endangered of the big cat species. It is estimated that only 50 to 100 remain in their native habitat–which is along the Amur River on the border between Russia and China.

The three cubs are currently in Tanganyika’s nursery, and visitors can see them through the windows–with live feedings at 11 a.m. daily.
