The University of Kansas is issuing a self imposed suspension of head basketball coach Bill Self. He’s suspended for the first four games including the team’s Champions Classic game against Duke on November 15th.
The self imposed suspension comes after an investigation by the NCAA that took place in 2017 over violations including a “head coach responsibility” charge against Self. Kansas will also impose recruiting restrictions.
The NCAA is expected to dish out penalties related to the investigation after this season.
