Two Wichita men have been sentenced to prison for their roles in a deadly shooting that happened in 2020.

A judge sentenced 54-year-old William Moore to 22-years and 32-year-old Jesse Sweeney was given more than seven years in prison on charges that include kidnapping and aggravated assault.

The victim, 30-year-old Blake Mayes, was shot and killed during a disturbance at a home in the 200-block of North Charles in April, 2020.

Mayes’ girlfriend, 39-year-old Bobbie Williams, was sentenced earlier this year to nearly 30-years in prison for charges including second-degree murder.
