Wichita police said a 14-year-old boy was arrested after a fatal shooting that happened Friday evening in an east side neighborhood.

Police were called to the 11,700 block of East Waterman around 8:45 p.m. on a report of a shooting, and a short time later there was a report of a shooting victim walking into a hospital.   The victim, 17-year-old Julio Ruiz of Wichita, died later.

Investigators found that the shooting actually took place in the 100 block of North Zelta.  The circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation.
