A Wichita man has been charged with second degree murder for the shooting death of a teenager at an apartment complex last fall.
38-year-old Michael Austin, Jr is charged with second degree murder. His bond was set at $250,000 and his next court appearance was scheduled for March 13th.
Austin is charged in the shooting death of 18-year-old Amyion McDowel-Mitchell. Police said the shooting happened September 23rd, 2022 at an apartment complex in the 5000 block of East Osie. Investigators said the shooting was the result of an argument.
